Art is an adventure of the spirit

   founded in 1995, is a unique and provocative intersection of modern dance, puppets, mime and story telling. The company performs traditional puppet pieces, modern dance works, and innovative mixed media productions based in the art of story telling. Through the use of dance/movement, music, theater and puppets, the artistic directors, Roberto A, Fois (puppeteer) and Loretta D. Fois (choreographer), work together to create meaningful and enjoyable "parable art" that brings to life stories from around the world. 

The company is recognized for its ability to provide quality art for ALL ages, from 3 to 93, and is under the auspices of Living Parables, an organization providing management, technical, and administrative support for professional level art in performances, workshops, and lecture/demonstrations.

Puppe’n’Dance artists have worked with New Jersey Department of Education in bringing dance and puppets into the public schools, and have provided master classes for schools, churches and community-based organizations.

Puppe’n’Dance received The National Conference for Community and Justice Best Practices Award 2003, and has received financial support from Middlesex and Somerset County Cultural and Heritage Commission, Burlington Cultural Commission, and The Puffin Foundation.
